Course Summary:
This course was designed to teach drone operators to be compliant with. For someone that is new to aviation, this can be a daunting and easily misunderstood task.
This course taught how to use your drone but also how to do so safely and within the rule framework.
It taught us to keep yourself and others safe and have fun.
If you plan on using a drone commercially it is important to understand that all employers are responsible to ensure that staff and/ or contractors are trained to use all plant and equipment in the workplace and this includes drones. Upon completion of this course we gained a certificate of competency which meets this requirement.
If operating within 4km of Airports and helipads you must also complete a course of training to make your flights legal.
